Prayer Requests submitted by Russ Epley: 1) Please pray that the many Japanese people who attend a traditional Buddhist funeral somehow grow conscious of the Creator God and earnestly seek Him.
2) Also pray that any Christians attending Buddhist funerals may be empowered to appropriately convey Good News without compromising.
3) Please pray that the Gospel would sound forth in culturally appropriately ways throughout the education system in Japan, and that the result would be many, many disciples for Christ in generations to come.
4) Pray for unity and effectiveness among those Christians working toward a modern Christian school movement and the home school movement in this nation.
5) Many Japanese people are experiencing pain and disillusionment in life, even turning to suicide. Please pray for the Japanese people to honor the Bible as revelation from their Creator and submit gladly and completely to its authority.
6) Pray also that Christians could connect with them and effectively share the Scriptures.
